We Made It

so, today was ultimate fun. monica, cesca, and i met up at fc for our long-awaited plan to push through. amazingly, we arrived on time. i even woke up early because i was so excited like shit. i mean, hello, that was my first time to visit libingan ng mga bayani with two of my closest friends.

big boy then (cesca calls him big boy so i do too) drove us to taguig. funnily, we got all muddled up with what cemetery we were in (we mistook manila memorial park with libingan ng mga bayani hahahaha) so basically we went cemetery-hopping. wasn't that so unusual? i mean, lotsa people do bar-hopping, food-hopping etc., and we, the most unusual out of all the unusual people in the world, went cemetery-hopping! here are some of the pics (cesca still hasn't uploaded the other photos yet):

the monumental manila memorial park

unlike the others. :(

the very lovely cesquita margarita

libingan ng mga bayani este ng mga presidente

i'm gonna post this cause he is my most favorite among diosdado macapagal and carlos p. garcia

"if i would have my name endure, i'll write it in the hearts of men."

then, we had lunch at national sports grill greenbelt. we ordered half-fore cheese, half-chicken barbecue pizza, and platter of honey-roasted chicken breasts (with onion rings, fries, and coleslaw salad). i was actually begging them to order quesadilla dipped in guacamole, but cesca said she didn't like guacamoles cause they're made up of avocados. :((

the half-fore cheese, half-chicken barbecue pizza (the honey-roasted chicken breasts photo turned out picture-unworthy)

we then went to ayala museum, but since cameras weren't allowed there, i didn't took the liberty to take pictures of the amazing paintings of contemporary artists and gold collections of our ancestors. after 2 hours or so, we headed off to yuchengco museum to witness the captivating and inspiring works of botong francisco, fernando amorsolo, and juan luna. but what really caught my attention were the painfully breathtaking frozen in time photographs of dance. i even shed a tear for the airdrawing forsythe of peter welz. he's that great that i didn't want to leave the place.

we rode the mrt (cause big boy had to fetch louise) to cubao. after being so stressed and all, we ate at dq and headed off to cubao x. we got hungry again, so we had our dinner at this vegetarian resto called "halo". i ordered malunggay with cheese sandwich and cafe latte shake. cesca had chicken pesto sandwich and banana shake, while monica drank caffe latte shake.

halo and its interesting paintings and collectibles

sorry, i fell in love with that old "grandmama" phone

monica waiting for her cafe latte heaven drink

so i said, "hey, what's the use of this antique mirror without me being inside it?"

"...but what is really the point of taking a picture without my bestfriends beside me?"
