this is what i have learned in soc sci 2 today.
like you, i have incongruously argued with my prof that the above equation is impossible (what with my being equipped with formal math and science education)! but, in philosophy, i've yet to find out that this can be actually true.
you see it is just simple as this:
the above equation is true, right ya??????!
so, the equation below also follows, riGHHHHHHHhhhhhhTTTTTTTT?
therefore, the very first incongruous absurd equation is impossibly true, rightttTHThThhhT ya????!!!!!
Okay, think about it again. The key here is to throw away with haste all concepts in Math (maybe not all) that were instilled in your minds for the past 10-20 years. all you need is a philosophical mind. ;>
