Desire Desire... More Desire.

I just thought that there really is no point to want something more in my life.

You know how sometimes you wonder how it feels like to live the life of Taylor Swift or Angelina Jolie or even Oprah, and you realize that it is such an unattainable dream because it seems so perfect and grand and big and just well, completely... unattainable.

But what is really the point in mulling over such things when these same people, who just happen to be famous and rich, have dreams and desires like mine but differ only in dimension and kind?

I mean think about it, there is a great possibility that someone out there, in this world that I live in, absolutely desires to have the clothes I wear, the friends I am with, the feet that I have, the CD's I listen to, the books I read... you know, things like that. And this same person that wants to put his/herself in my shoes also has someone that wants to be be like him/her.

What if Taylor Swift is actually disgusted with how she sings, and wants a voice that resembles Piaf's? What if Angelina Jolie would really die to live the life of Obi-Wan Kenobi? And Oprah secretly dreams to be like Mother Teresa, and be beatified and regarded as "Blessed Oprah of Mississippi"?

So, this concept of wanting more is basically instinctual. I doubt that there is a person who lived without wanting to be richer than he was, thinner than he appeared, more famous than what he seemed... and so on.

I would like to live a life that is not controlled by my wanting more than what I have.
