I waited for an answer, a light whimper or a broken comma, in the dimness of this threadbare room and in the chaos of the mind. I busied myself with reading, and shuffling, and humming. This was a habit I’ve recently developed to not think about thinking about you thinking about me. Perhaps, I have just succumbed to the world of the convoluted as I placate myself to understand who you are and why. And as I looked through the moon, I see your faceless self searching for something or someone (I maybe?) But I was never an I, always a You or an It or a Hi. When will it dawn on you that I care, please read between the lines.
