new book review at totteringpages
a tiny burden has been lifted off of my chest. now, we are gradually reforming this broken bond after enduring successive shrugs and cold comments the past few weeks. i cannot clearly see the grounds of this lukewarm feeling i have towards her, but i did realize that there is no point at all. if i am disheartened by the accumulation of past misunderstandings then i should see in myself that i am only swimming across the murky river, without anyone to believe in even myself. i've read a quote somewhere, it said, "remember the light and believe in it. nothing matters anymore." this is faith, loyalty, and trustworthiness. how many times do i have to tell myself that these make up the foundation of a relationship.
for breakfast i had red velvet french macarons from the cookiejar (cesca, i owe you thanks), and a cup of black coffee, the way i always like it to be. was also able to read the NFE theory, which i completely cannot make out of in real life. told sheila that we should consult with sir omar because apparently he is a one approachable and welcoming professor.
the weather is sunny, the clouds are saying hi, and i am feeling a lot better.
see you've forgotten it soon enough. say if this is the hot rolling of metals, your body has now been covered with scales. you lose some some, you gain some. this time, let it be strength and courage.
