Before this day ends, I want to say how much I yearn for a simple life. The life that I used to have when my soul isn't still branded by the impurities of the physical world. I want to say how much I want to care for mother nature, for the animals, and for the goodness of the world. I want to know how it feels like living a life directed by one's love for humanity and morality. The feeling of being able to give and to expect nothing in return. The feeling of a little kid who just wants to grow up happy.
Isn't that a simple life... a simpler life for grown-ups like us? A life that is so ideal it vanishes the very instant that we dream of it.
Isn't it so utopian that we cease to live in the real world... that we tend to draw breath in reading fairy tales and watching fantasy movies?
How about the cruelties of life? How about the happiness it soon brings us?
Will we ever miss it?
Is that how our supposed-to-be stories must turn out?
