I AM ALREADY SLEEPY

Zen Master: "So then, according to you, when you die your soul will be in heaven?"

Preacher: "Yes."

Zen Master: "And your body will be in the grave?"

Preacher: "Yes."

Zen Master: "And where, may I ask, will you be?"
- Anthony de Mello

happy birthday my dear cousin! may your heart be filled with nothing but peace and happiness. i wish you'd have more laugh lines etched on your young face so that people can see how disproportionately happy your life has become!

so, we celebrated francis's birthday today at lola's house. i had fun winning and losing with him on ps3. haha, i just wish he had l4d, so that i could show him how great a zombie-slayer i really was! man, i kept on losing in that game that starts with the letter S, and sounds like "spunk attack".

so, tita, mama, and lola were prying informations about faye's "imaginary" boyfriend out of me. man, how would i know right?! we barely see each other for the last couple of months, and even if she has a boyfriend, i know she wouldn't tell me upfront. tita even asked me if i have a boyfriend. Of course, there was no need to respond especially when mama instantly butted into our conversation, and answered with a confident "none". hahahahaha. seriously speaking, i am single and not really ready to mingle. thank you.

btw, i kinda do think some young-adult books are shallow specifically those chic-lits beautifying most bookstore's new acquisitions desk. but i read them. why? because it doesn't take a lot of thinking and brain exercising. such a comparison is reading the unbearable lightness of being to this lullaby

good night.
