it is very likely of me to write when there is enough pressure pushing me out of the gasket, like when my readings are lined up in front of me mimicking an infantry battalion, like when the moon has shied away from shedding light on what aggravates irresponsibility, like tonight, . i always ask the universe for answers because i see certainty in the faint shimmer of the stars, or in the corrugated surface of the earth's satellite. i see clarity. i see history proving the linearity of time. i see myself picking flowers in the garden near my mother's office. i reminded myself that these are vivid images of the past that shake like leaves to find their way towards me. i am grateful, and will always be to be a part of this staged play, this reality i call planet earth. but tonight i must accept that the universe has failed to do what i asked of it. to have realized that i will never be alone must suffice, and apparently, it is the exact answer i will always hold dear in my heart.
it is, as it turned out, right that the heart beats blue and green
