i now believe that the long lost hope for economic progress that we have been dreaming of can only be achieved through collective action propelled by communism. after fully grasping marxism, i have found out that there could be no equality so long as the oppressed are still oppressed, and the capitalists are still capitalists. what makes this consequence of excessive consumption and demand more devastating is that the whole planet earth endures the exploits. trees are being cut down, the atmosphere continues to attenuate, protected fishes are caught, laborers continue to starve, the poor becomes poorer... ah, endless!
i can type away all my radical thoughts and complaints about the system, but in my mind, i know that it won't ever suffice. a country that is ravaged by a million of ways needs millions of people for it to be salvaged. Philippines does not need a pig's "OINK", it desperately needs a lion's "ROAR".
